VetLove Goonellabah vet clinic is located in Holland street, just off Oliver St opposite Hepburn Park.
The big pink VetLove Goonellabah building is easily seen from the street. We are a full-service Veterinary Hospital with digital radiology, IDEXX in-house blood testing equipment, ultrasound, full surgical facilities and a team of Vets and Nurses who are compassionate and dedicated to providing the best veterinary care for your beloved pet.
We treat your pets as we do our own – with lots of loving kindness.
We’ve gone PINK but nothing has changed within our very able Vet Team – Dr James Clarke-Williams is still our anchor Vet, ably assisted by Dr Julie Barnwell. Both these clinicians are Veterinarians of excellence who retain their love and passion for animals and the provision of the very best in veterinary care for each and every patient.
More on “James the Vet’
Dr James trained at the Royal Veterinary College in London. He was introduced to the veterinary lifestyle at an early age, accompanying his father a veterinarian on farm calls in Dorset.
Prior to coming to Australia, he worked in Devon, Kenya, Cornwell and Yorkshire. It only took a holiday in Australia for Dr James to fall in love with the mellow climate.
He then spent a few years working as a veterinary locum, taking the oportunity to explore this beautifull country from Victoria up to the Northern Territory, before settling here on the New South Wales North Coast.
